Driving sense

We keep on discussing about cars, their features, how fast do they go, how good do they look, and just keep on getting mesmerized by them. But if one comes to think of, no matter what car it is, no matter how good or bad it is, there’s one important aspect and which is not even the car, but related to the one’s driving them. In this article, the spotlight is on the DRIVING SENSE or some driving tips that intends making driving, a safe and happy experience.
In the present day world, which basically includes huge traffic snarls, lane drivings, traffic lights, restricted speed limits, and an eventuality whose validity is testified with more and more number of people buying cars. Taking into account all these considerations, it becomes almost a duty of all those who intend driving, to practice a sensible and safe driving.
Driving sense is not really a rocket science, and if one does think about it, its more of a sensible thinking, or better referred to as common sense complemented with some patience.
Lets have a look at some simple things, which I am sure everyone is aware of, its just a matter for everyone to implement it:
1. Avoiding distractions while driving like using the mobile phone, or smoking, or eating or getting too much involved in talking to the fellow passengers.
2. Adhering to the correct lane while driving in multiple lanes according to the speed.
3.  Do not drink and drive, because it hampers one’s reflex reactions and the risk of a mishap increases.
4.  Avoiding road rage and try not to drive around in a bad mood, or when feeling drowsy.

5. Abiding by the speed limits.
6. Traffic lights are meat to regulate traffic flow, so when the light turns red, one should stop rather than jumping it, because by jumping a red light, that driver is not only putting his/her life, but others life in great danger too.  So simply adhere by the traffic lights.
7. Overtaking should be done carefully and after giving all the required signals, so that the person driving in front and rear and also the one approaching from other side clearly knows that you are overtaking.
8.  Giving signal well in advance before one is about to take a turn or are about to stop, so as to give enough reaction time to others.
9.  Maintaining optimum distance from the vehicle in front so as to have enough reaction time in case the vehicle ahead stops unexpectedly.
10. Maintaining the vehicle in good working condition, like checking the tires, steering column, brakes, battery, lights.
Its just a matter of following these simple rules while on the road and driving would be much safer and would also be good for the vehicle maintenance . We can truly enjoy all the latest cars only if our driving manners show maturity and sensibility.
Happy & safe motoring!
