Devon 2010 GTX was presented today at the foot of the famous sentence in the Pebble Beach Concours dElegance. The limited edition supercar is the first product of Los Angeles-based industrial design house in Devon Motorworks (devonmotorworks.com). That will go on sale in the first quarter of 2010.
The design was led by Devon and noted automotive designer Daniel Paulin. His approach to vehicles that are able to mix with courage, tactility and aesthetics in a unique way.
Beneath the skin of the GTX Devon is 8.4 liters (510 cubic inch) V-10 engine that produces 650 horsepower (484.7 kW) at 6100 rpm. The V-10 engine is coupled with a proven track six-speed manual transmission.
While the GTX Devon has not played a road of America, has made its mark in two of Americas most demanding road courses. In validation tests earlier this year, vehicle production car lap records at both Willow Springs Raceway and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
